Since 2013, Edith Patisserie is a homestyle bakery helmed by a small team of dedicated bakers. We specialise in layered cakes for birthdays, weddings and all types of celebrations. We love creating not only new and original designs, but unique flavour pairings. When baking cakes and bakes, we keep our baking batches small to ensure freshness and also a consistent standard of taste and quality.  As cake lovers ourselves, we only serve what we'd love to eat too.

Kitchen Assistant - Part-Time

Job Scope 
- Assisting with baking of sponges, cooking creams, and fondant work
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment  

Requirements 
- Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification
- Some experience working in a bakery preferred
- Able to commit a minimum of 6 months

Baker / Fondant Decorator - Full-Time

Job Scope 
- Baking of sponges, cupcakes, macarons for daily production
- Creation of fondant decorations and figurines
- Preparing pastry components for cake assembly
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment  
- Inventory checking and organisation of storage


Requirements 
- Possess a Diploma in Pastry & Baking
- Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification
- Fresh grads welcome

Job Scope 
- Preparation of mini bites (tarts, cupcakes etc) for daily deliveries/collections
- Assembling and frosting of standard and customised cakes
- Preparing components for cake assembly
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment  
- Inventory checking and organisation of storage


Requirements 
- Possess a Diploma in Pastry & Baking
- Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification
- Fresh grads welcome, but experience in a bakery preferred
- Able to commit a minimum of 1 year

Ad-Hoc Driver

Job Scope 
- Liaising with customers regarding cake deliveries
- Delivering cakes on time 
- Confirming good condition of items when delivered
- Dealing with last minute delivery changes where applicable
- Reporting back to logistics team regarding completion of deliveries

Deliveries will be allocated based on your availability and rates will be confirmed prior to jobs being confirmed. 

Vehicle will not be provided. Applicants to use their own vehicle (passenger or commercial, no motorbikes).


Requirements 
- Polite with good communication skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Must be able to adhere to strict collection and delivery timings
