Terms & Conditions

By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

 

Customer Conduct and Respect 

We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and assistance to our customers. While we are committed to helping you with any enquiries you may have and making your experience with us enjoyable, we kindly request that all customers uphold the following guidelines:

  • Mutual Respect: Please treat our staff and fellow customers with courtesy and respect. Harassment, offensive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Staff Well-being: The well-being and safety of our staff is of paramount importance. Any actions that jeopardize their well-being or create a hostile working environment will not be welcomed. 
  • Positive Interaction: We encourage open and positive communication. If you have any concerns or feedback, please communicate with us in a respectful and constructive manner and we will assist you in the best way we can. 
  • Exceptional Experience: We are dedicated to making your experience with us exceptional. By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure a pleasant and harmonious environment for all, we look forward to serving you with respect and excellence.

Order Amendments or Cancellations

  • ANY changes to orders requested out of The Bakery’s operating hours will only be attended during operating hours.
  • Orders made are non-refundable and amendments are subjected to Edith Patisserie’s decision and goodwill.
  • Store credit will be tagged to your Edith account for preorders online and ahead of its expiry date via our website at https://www.edithpatisserie.com/ (valid for six months from date of issue).
  • Store credit is non-transferable to other Edith account holders and non- exchangeable for cash.
  • Store credit is automatically applied at checkout page when you login to your account prior to placing your order.
  • Under extraordinary circumstances where a cancellation is possible for orders, including orders made using store credit, a cancellation and transaction fee will apply.

 

Payment and Pricing

  • Products priced online are inclusive of 9% GST.
  • Edith Patisserie accepts the following payment methods online; Visa and MasterCard.
  • Bulk discounts are available for online preorders on selected bakes only at our website https://www.edithpatisserie.com/

 

Deliveries

  • An email confirmation will be sent to the person who made the order the day before to confirm the order.
  • Changes from a collection to a delivery is subjected to the availability of our third party delivery service vendor.
  • ANY pending delivery charges shall be paid within the deadline set by our team. Should there be no payment or partial payment done on your end, delivery method WOULD NOT be confirmed.
  • Deliveries occur any time between the stated stipulated time slot, subjected to our third party delivery vendors' schedule. Kindly reach out to us on the day of delivery should you wish to learn the estimated timing. A specific timing is not possible nor guaranteed.
  • A 10-minute grace period is provided upon delivery. In the event where the receiver is absent, we will leave the items at a safe location (eg on a shoerack/cabinet outside the door). Should the driver be unable to gain access to the door (eg no access given via the intercom), the bakes will be sent back to our Bakery and a redelivery fee would be borne by customer. Arrangement for redelivery would be set for the next day.
  • Should our drivers are instructed to leave the items outside the premises as per your request, we will not be held liable for the conditions of these items afterwards.
  • Should there be any issue with your bakes upon retrieval, please call 6443 7150 immediately for us to provide assistance.
  • Deliveries to Sentosa incur $10 delivery surcharge. Do note that we do not deliver to Tuas, Jurong Island and restricted areas. Please refer to our FAQ on the restricted areas https://www.edithpatisserie.com/faqs

 

Collection

  • An email confirmation will be sent to the person listed as the person collecting the cake to confirm the order the day before the date of collection.
  • Changes to collection date is subjected to the Company’s decision.
  • All collections must be made during operating hours. Cakes that are not collected till then will be kept for collection on the next working day. Cakes not collected within 2 days from original date of collection will be discarded and a refund will not be provided.
  • The person collecting the bakes shall inform our staffs in-store regarding any issues of the order or he/ she be wholly responsible for the bakes after they have left our premises.

 

Cake Decorations and Serving Sizes

  • Fresh cream cakes should be kept refrigerated (not frozen) till time of consumption. Cakes or leftovers kept overnight should be consumed within 2-3 days of date of collection/delivery.
  • All weights, recommended servings and sizes are approximations only.
  • Slight changes may be made to your cake design (e.g. placement of toppers) as we see fit for practical and aesthetic purposes. 
  • Standard cakes are non-customisable (e.g. removal/addition of decorations, changes to cake colour and etc.)
  • Dowels, straws or skewers may be present for customised cake designs to provide structural stability to the cakes and are required to secure the cake for transportation.
  • Fondant toppers may be packed separately for self-assembly if they cannot be assembled.

 

Storage

  • Fresh cream cakes should be kept refrigerated (not frozen) till time of consumption. Cakes or leftovers kept overnight should be consumed within 2-3 days of date of collection/delivery.
  • Buttercream cakes should not be consumed straight from the fridge as it will be crumby and difficult to cut. Keep in air-conditioned area (min 18°C) for up to 5 hours. If refrigerated, allow cake to return to room temperature until cream is soft to the touch, approximately 30-60 mins.
  • Fondant toppers should not be stored in the fridge as they will melt due to humidity. It should always be kept in an air-conditioned area.

 

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

  • We bake in a kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, nut and soy. Our cakes are therefore not recommended for those with allergies.
  • We are not a halal-certified bakery and our kitchen handles alcohol for the production of some of our cake flavours. Please refer to our FAQ on dietary restrictions https://www.edithpatisserie.com/faqs

 

Loyalty Points

  • To earn loyalty points, you must create an account with us and log in to your account prior to placing your order. Requests for points to be credited or redeemed retroactively would not be possible.
  • Loyalty points programme is only applicable for preorders via our website https://www.edithpatisserie.com/ but not for fully-customised orders (i.e.orders that are not on our website)
  • Points are available for redemption in denomination of 200 (entitles you to $5) at the check-out page with a maximum of 1000 points that can be redeemed per order. 
  • The final order total (after point redemption) must be above $150 to qualify for free delivery. Orders with points redemption which result in the final order total below $150 will not be entitled to free delivery.
  • All points earned have a 6-months validity period from the date it was credited. We are unable to reinstate any expired points.
  • Loyalty points are non-transferable for cash.
  • Changes cannot be made to orders utilising loyalty/reward points.
  • Order cancellations utilising loyalty/reward points would not be possible.
  • Under extraordinary circumstances where a cancellation is possible, redeemed points will be forfeited and a cancellation fee will apply.

 

Discount Codes

  • All discount codes are for one-time use only. No extensions for expired discount codes will be provided.
  • ANY discount codes must be redeemed/utilized before the stated expiry date or ahead of its expiry.
  • Requests for discount codes to be credited or redeemed retroactively would not be possible.
  • The final order total (after discount) above $150 is qualified for free delivery.
  • Discount codes are non-transferable for cash.
  • Changes cannot be made to orders utilising one-time discount codes.
  • Order cancellations utilising one-time discount codes would not be possible, under extraordinary circumstances where changes are allowed, the discount code will be forfeited. 
  • Under extraordinary circumstances where a cancellation is possible, the discount code will be forfeited and a cancellation fee will apply.
